BROADCAST SCHEDULE

  Welcome to our website

Doug McClure
pastor

Hello and welcome to our website!  We hope it will be of help to both members & visitors. If you have questions that aren't answered here please feel free to email us.

Never forget that God loves you and has provided a simple plan for you to become a Christian. First of all, everyone has sinned -which means everyone has violated God's laws. We sin by our deeds, speech and even thoughts. This sin brings our spiritual death - which is separation from God. Jesus' death on the cross paid the penalty for your sins. When you commit your life to Christ you receive complete forgiveness and eternal life. Ask Christ to forgive your sins and invite Him to come into your life.

First time visitor to FBC?

If you're not sure where Hugo is located in the great state of Oklahoma, click the Location link above.

Greeters will be available at all main entrances to the church to help you find your way to an age appropriate Sunday School class. Click on the Facility link above for a map of our building.

You'll see many more people wearing jeans than you will coat & ties. Don't ever worry that you might not have anything "nice" enough to wear. We don't "dress up" to impress each other. Modest clothing is all that we ask.

FBC in the community

FBC is a ministering congregation both inside the church building and in our community. Members are active in city & county government, our school system, and civic organizations.

We have maintained a broadcast ministry on local radio since the early 1950's and a television broadcast of our services on the local cable tv system since 1982.

FBC is diverse

FBC is a diverse congregation, welcoming all races and economic backgrounds.

If you would like to join FBC

The first and primary requirement of church membership is that you know for certain that you have received Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. You may join our church by making one of the following commitments:

  • By public confession of faith in Jesus Christ followed by baptism
  • By statement that you have been baptized according to Bible teachings about salvation
  • By transfer of membership from another Baptist church
